The Blue Rinse Band

I photographed The Blue Rinse band back in October for my portfolio and really loved how the photos came out. I tweeted the band one of my photos and they loved it and were eager to see more! On the 28th March, they were due to play at the same venue again, and hired me to take some official photos for them for use on their website! There was an amazing turnout for the gig at Venue 360 Luton, and I had so much fun photographing the band and their adoring fans! Check out The Blue Rinse’s website here for some videos of them in action! Hopefully some of my work will be appearing on there soon too 🙂bluerinse01 bluerinse02 bluerinse03 bluerinse04 bluerinse05 bluerinse06 bluerinse07 bluerinse08 bluerinse09 bluerinse10 bluerinse11 bluerinse12 bluerinse13 bluerinse14 bluerinse15 bluerinse16 bluerinse17 bluerinse18 bluerinse19 bluerinse20 bluerinse21 bluerinse22 bluerinse23 bluerinse24 bluerinse25 bluerinse26

Jenny and Steve – a Sunrise Engagement Shoot

Terri from Summer Lily Studio invited me along to a sunrise engagement shoot back in January.  I had never shot at this time of day before so I thought it would be a great opportunity to practice. Plus I second shot at their wedding on the 22nd February, so I got to meet this lovely couple beforehand, which is always a good thing, that way they will be more comfortable with me on their big day! Jenny and Steve are an incredibly lovely and fun-loving couple, they were up for anything! We took the photos down on Harpenden Common, the village where they will be wed! I love the way the photos have come out, with the orange rays of light seeping in at the corners of the photos. I would love to try more sunrise shoots in future!JennySteve01 JennySteve02 JennySteve03 JennySteve04 JennySteve06 JennySteve07 JennySteve08 JennySteve09 JennySteve10 JennySteve11 JennySteve12 JennySteve13

Blossoms in Spring

I love Spring time, one of the best things about this time of year is when nature starts blooming again after a cold winter. You know when Spring has arrived when the blossoms start appearing and bringing colour back to the naked branches. I have become slightly obsessed with blossoms this year and have been stopping to photograph them and pop a pic on Instagram. I took a trip to the Verulamium Park in St Albans the other weekend, and couldn’t stop myself from taking some photos when I found some pretty white and pink blossoms hanging around! Luckily, I had also bought along my prism, and I thought I would try out some effects with it! Let me know what you think of my photos and whether or not you think the prism makes the photos look more interesting 🙂 Would love to hear your thoughts!blossom01 blossom02 blossom03 blossom04 blossom05 blossom06 blossom07 blossom08 blossom09 blossom10
